Dr. Maurer explained all my options and the treatment plan. His office did X-rays first thing so he could analyze and show me exactly the problem.

Saw Dr Maurer for my post-op visit for my shoulder surgery and everything thing went well. He is very professional and walked me thru the images during the procedure and outlined the plan for my shoulder therapy which will start next month. Highly recommend Dr Maurer if you need shoulder surgery.

Today I had a 11am appointment with Dr Maurer. I check in at 10:45am I wasn't call to go to the back for a hour later. The lady's at the front were very immortality. Today was not good.

Never saw the dr. Waited 40 mins, and told only one body part per appointment. Staff a little gruff.

Dr Maurer has been a pleasure to work with for my shoulder surgery. He gave me the facts, discussed the options, together we evaluated the potential outcomes and together arrived at the decision to operate. Ultimately, I did have 2 partially torn Labrum and feel the decision to operate was validated by the images during surgery. The entire process was stressful for me, having never had any type of surgery whatsoever. But Dr Maurer's experience and bedside conversation prior to the procedure gave me comfort before going under anesthesia. Upon waking, I learned the procedure was routine and no cause for concern. I attribute this directly to Dr Maurer, his staff, the McKinney Methodist hospital staff and the great Anesthesiologist solely dedicated to my wellbeing that day, Dr. Aleem. Having him supervise my vitals provided confidence my care was their primary focus.

Dr Maurer practices medicine by listening to his patients and prescribed a recover plan that worked. I could not be happier with my knee replacement and anybody could tell by looking at an invisible scar that his surgical skill is of the highest quality.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Maurer for many many years. He is always very professional and does a great great job. Very happy with the front office, Monet was extremely helpful with the problem I was having. I would definitely recommend Dr Maurer to anyone.

Dr Maurer was friendly, listened and then inspected my knee and gave some alterations for treatment with supportiing rationale for each. I think he gave a good choice and I seem to be in the road to recovery.

Staff members are very unprofessional. The intake nurse called us to the back room and dug straight into asking questions about the knee issue, she never introduced herself to us. When she finished gathering all our personal info she stated that a person would be in shortly to take knee X-rays. 55 minutes later. I open the door to see what is the hold up, only to see the entire staff huddled together whispering. I asked when someone would be coming to get the X-rays and an unknown staff member stated “we were just talking about that, they are behind, someone will be there in 2 mins”. We finally get to the X-ray room and the the young lady again did not greet nor introduce herself. 13 mins later the doctor comes in the room just as happy, smiled and introduced himself to us. I was totally shocked, that this doctor was so friendly and his staff was so so rude toward us. (Perhaps maybe it was due to the color of our skin and the fact that the patient has disabilities.

My family has been seeing Dr Maurer and Nicole for over 10 years I love this practice!!!! They are caring, great listeners and answers all my questions. He has performed more procedures than I can list. I would highly recommend them to anyone with orthopedic needs. If I could I would give more than 5 ⭐️'s!!

Dr. Maurer replaced both of my knees in a 3 mo. period. I didn't think I would make it through one much less two. However, he did a great job and with physical therapy I've recuperated very well. I am on the road to walking again normally and without pain. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Mauer is personable, and professional. He always took time to answer all my questions concerning my complete knee replacement. He offered encouragement and support in all stages of pre-op, surgery and follow ups. He is an excellent doctor and I recommend him heartily.
