I was referred to Dr. Richardson for severe bilateral foot pain. After extensive diagnostic tests and a number of PT sessions, it was clear that surgery was the best course of action. I appreciated the fact that he exhausted all other options before recommending surgery.
The procedure, which is complex, went beautifully. It requires a long period of recovery and rehab, and Dr. R has been professional, attentive, responsive, and friendly throughout. Aside from his obvious skill as an orthopedic surgeon, the thing that I truly appreciate is that he listens to my questions, concerns, and goals, and works with me to come up with a game plan. (Go #39!)
My husband and I could not be happier or more grateful for the high level of ongoing care. We enthusiastically recommend Emergo Ortho and Dr. Richardson.

He did not remember why I was there & spoke about injecting my ankles - every 6 months I have the tops of my feet injection. I waited 50 minutes for a 5 minute talk

Chan School of Public Health as a Zuckerman Fellow. He completed his general surgery internship at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, then his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He pursued advanced training with a prestigious orthopaedic foot and ankle fellowship at Harvard’s Mass General.
