Dr. Dalip Pelinkovic is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who joined Suburban Orthopaedics in 2018. He specializes in spine surgery with a focus on less invasive neck, mid and lower back surgeries, disk replacement, and procedures to correct previous back surgeries. He is well-known in the industry for his superior diagnosis, his thorough patient consultations and his evaluation and treatment of patients with injuries, disorders, and deformities.
After studying in both Germany and the Midwest, Dr. Pelinkovic has practiced throughout the Chicagoland area including at Rush University, Edward Hospital, and Elmhurst Hospital. He joins us from M&M Spine Center, where he applied advanced technology to spinal surgery to minimize pain and ensure shorter hospital stays.
Dr. Pelinkovic regularly shares his wisdom with fellow physicians, publishing articles in research publications including Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He is also active in numerous medical associations and trade groups including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Illinois State Medical Society, and the North American Spine Society.
In his leisure time, Dr. Pelinkovic enjoys athletic training, photography, watching sports and spending time with his family.

Great Doctor
Seemed very fake. No warmth for new patient at all.
Very professonal and think situations out, dont just jump at first impression
I only gave this Dr. a star because I had to check one. He did not have any information on my treatments prior to my visit. He seemed unconcerned and dismissive. I tried to let him know my symptoms and he would talk over me. I told informed him that I had previous treatment on my back and there was no response. He did not check my back and when he mumbled that he was going to refer me for an injection I told him again that I had two injections in my back. He was surprised and at that moment I thought he would check where my pain was coming from but he did nothing. I also told him that I had shoulder surgery and he checked the strength of my arms. My Dr. referred me for my back since pain management did not work and he checks my arms strength before he dismissed me. This appointment was a waste of my time and I still have no answers on what's next to fix my back. I felt that he did nothing and still got paid. It was also difficult to understand him. It wasn't the language he mumbled.
