Dr. Boyd is so kind and encouraging. He was the first medical professional to tell me it is his goal to get me back to my previous level of activity, not to tell me just to change what I do.

Dr. Boyd has been, and continues to be, the most competent, thorough, and compassionate surgeon I’ve had the pleasure of working with throughout my lifetime. My son had a very complex, multifaceted knee injury from football and Dr. Boyd’s surgery and treatment program has resulted in my son’s recovery at an accelerated speed. Even though we’re still in treatment, I’m confident he’ll be ready to continue playing lacrosse and football in the very near future. Thank you Dr. Boyd and staff.

Saw me on time. Asked for my thoughts on how I was doing and paid attention to what I had to say.

Dr. Boyd graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine, completed his residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, and his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
His inherent knowledge of high-level athletic participation stems from personal experience. He was an NCAA Division I college wrestler, as was his father.
