Dr. Rader pursued his undergraduate degree at Wabash College, where he also played basketball. Dr. Rader graduated with honors from the Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Rader’s love of sports led him to further specialize his training by doing a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, where he worked with the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL.
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Rader realized he wanted to work in a warmer climate after living in Miami for his orthopedic residency, and North Carolina definitely fit the bill.
