My visit with Dr. Brooks was very pleasant and professional. He took the time to truly listen to my concerns and did not rush through the appointment. I appreciated how attentive and understanding he was while I explained my ongoing neck, back, and numbness symptoms. Dr. Brooks asked thoughtful questions, showed genuine care, and made me feel heard and supported. His bedside manner was kind, respectful, and reassuring, which helped ease my anxiety about my health issues. Overall, I had a positive experience and felt that my concerns were taken seriously during the visit.

These conditions include compression fractures, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, spondylolisthesis, adult scoliosis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, stenosis, sciatica, and tumors. Dr. Brooks uses advanced technology to deliver the best possible medical care for his patients. Spinal fusions, discectomies, laminectomies, total disc replacements are a few of the surgical procedures Dr. Brooks performs to improve their quality of life.
Prior to relocating to North Carolina, Dr. Brooks was an Associate Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Massachusetts. He was responsible for resident and medical student education. During his tenure, he published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, lectured at national and local spine society meetings all while maintaining a demanding spine practice.
Providing patient-centered care is a priority for Dr. Brooks. He makes every effort to build positive relationships with his patients. He appreciates being able to serve his patients through alleviating their pain and improving their function. Dr. Brooks chose the field of orthopedics because he enjoys that fact that he is able to serve his patients by providing exceptional medical care to help them improve their quality of life as they return to an active life.
