D. Keith Turnbull, MD

Dr. Douglas Turnbull, MD, is a knowledgeable and compassionate urologist on the team of providers at Urology Associates of Mobile, which has state-of-the-art clinics conveniently located in Foley, Grove Hill, Thomasville, Lucedale, Fairhope, and Mobile, Alabama.

Dr. Turnbull earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his internship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and finished his postgraduate training with a residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, where he served as chief resident.

Prior to joining Urology Associates of Mobile, Dr. Turnbull served as a United States Air Force flight surgeon in San Antonio, Texas, and worked in private practice at Urology P.C. for over two decades.

With licenses to practice medicine in Florida, Texas, and Alabama, Dr. Turnbull is a trusted and respected health care provider. He’s board-certified by the American Board of Urology and is affiliated with a number of hospitals in Alabama, including the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley and Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. He is a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the American Urology Association.
