I had an excellent experience at the new center on Halton Road. Everyone was very professional. My procedure went like clockwork. I arrived there at 1:30 and I was walking out by 315. Dr. Gaines did a good job of giving me my results and making me feel comfortable prior to the procedure.

I went to Dr Gaines previously & he was very helpful with my IBS. However Something went very wrong with this last appointment. I saw a PA in Spartanburg who examined me & thought I would be a good candidate for hemmoroid banding but I needed to see Dr Gaines (who I just found out doesn’t even do the procedure). So I waited 3 months for this appointment to find out they won’t even consider this procedure unless I have a colonoscopy. They also evidently couldn’t get my past colonoscopy records from Spartanburg but knew I had polyps? This appointment was a complete waste of time because I don’t want or need a colonoscopy. I will need to look for another gastro dr & see if this is standard procedure or just an upsale.

I couldn't have been more impressed with how efficient the whole system at gastroenterology associates was. From the moment you check in, to the time they bring you back and post colonoscopy everything was incredibly efficient. Doctor Gaines is a very nice doctor who makes you feel comfortable from the start.

During my office visit, Dr. Gaines appeared disinterested. He was dismissive of my concerns and condescending in his responses.

No waiting, he took his time to listen to me and only Dr that has said I can help you. Thanks, loved him
