Dr. Gioioso-Datta is originally from Massachusetts where she received her undergraduate degree at Tufts University in 2004 and earned her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2013. She completed her residency training in 2013 at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Orange County.
After moving back to the northeast, she became an attending physician and faculty member of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the Yale School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical responsibilities at Yale, she is enthusiastic about teaching residents and medical students in the operating room and in clinic. She also gives lectures to medical students as well as assists Dr. Scott Casper with teaching obstetrical simulation. Dr. Gioioso-Datta is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Outside of the office, she relishes her time with her husband and two young children. To relax and stay in shape, she practices yoga, likes to travel, and enjoys sketching and painting.
