Dr. Craig Eck, M.D. was born in Alaska but grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia for both his undergraduate degree in biological engineering and medical school training.
Craig completed his ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University Eye Institute and completed a rigorous surgical cornea and anterior segment fellowship at Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. He is a board certified ophthalmologist and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Cornea Society. He is trained in the latest corneal transplant surgery technique, the DMEK, as well as many other corneal and anterior segment surgeries and office treatments.
Craig’s wife is a clinical research coordinator at Washington University. Along with their two young children and dog, Harley, they are happy to call St. Louis their home. Dr. Eck joined Envision Eye Specialists in 2019 and has grown a wonderful practice in both St. Louis and Farmington, MO.
