Dr. Ray is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Ray graduated from UC Davis where he majored in Biochemistry and completed medical school at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He went on to complete a residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in Cornea and External Eye Disease at the Mason Eye Institute. He went on to open a private practice in the Gulf Coast area.
Dr. Ray will be practicing out of our Foley, Mobile, Saraland and Spanish Fort offices in Alabama.

In 2009, he joined Coastal Eye Associates in the Monterey Bay region of Central Coast of California. Dr. Ray joined Southern Eye Group in 2019.
