Dr. Nelson received his Doctorate of Medicine at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and completed his orthopedic surgical residency at Stony Brook University in NY. His participation, in and love of, sports propelled him toward fellowship training in sports medicine at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA, where he had the opportunity to provide on-field coverage for multiple collegiate and professional teams. Dr. Nelson is currently the orthopedic consultant for several local high schools, and provides orthopedic care for many local baseball, volleyball, and soccer clubs.

Dr Nelson was direct and to the point. He and Ashley are awesome. Tanya and the frontvstaff were amazing.
Well organized. Megan PA was informative and explained findings clearly. Dr Nelson visit was brief, but awaiting test results for further treatment plans. Nice office.

Dr Nelson is Amazing! He is my doctor who did my rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder a few years ago! Now I’m having issues on my left shoulder. I love how he listens to my concerns!
