After seeing Dr. Troxell, I felt someone finally saw why I was having so much pain and that it was not going to get better unless I have a total knee replacement. I have been dealing with this for months and now I have hope.

Dr Troxell didn't try to have me do unnecessary treatment. He was clear in his explanations, things that could go wrong and how to prepare for further treatment. Very happy with the care I was given.

Usually 5 star rating. This time he was in a rush and didn’t stay long. I suppose he didn’t want to say much til after seeing the mri, but he didn’t really comment on the muscle spasm issue I described.

I was one of those unfortunate people that had to have a Total left knee replacement done. I was terrified at the thought. Dr. Corey Troxell, of the Lancaster Orthopedic Group was my Surgeon. I was so at ease with Dr. Troxell being my Doctor as he is the most pleasant and easy going guy that makes you feel so comfortable throughout the whole ordeal. I had an early morning appointment, and Dr. Troxell was still 45 minutes late in seeing me. I could hear him casually chatting with the nurses outside of the exam room beforehand. If he had respect for his patients and their time, this would not have occurred.

We came to Dr.Troxell for a 2nd opinion, after spending over a year with a different Orthopedic group, who did not do anything but order MRIs and PT, even after he had already gone through PT with no relief. Dr. Troxell ordered a MRI and even thought it did not show anything he still treated him and after my son had no relief he decided to do surgery to see what was going on. Sure enough 2 issues that did not show up on all of the MRIs he had were found and fixed. Now my son is not in pain everyday and is able to play sports to 100%

I visited Dr. Troxell’s for the first time yesterday for a Fractured Tibial plateau. I must say, I was very pleased with my appointment. Registration was a breeze, physicians assistants/X Ray technicians were warm and friendly. Dr. Troxell was very communicative AND thorough (X-rayed me several times) to make sure he gave the best diagnosis, prognosis, options and realistic (long term) expectations. I feel I’m in good hands moving forward.

Dr. Troxell had explained to me about what to expect with my upcoming surgery, he listened to my concerns, and he was very direct and honest with what I was to expect before and after surgery. You can't even tell where my incisions were in my knee, they healed up quickly.

Quick and to the point care, explained a few things that didn’t make sense at first. One star off because I wish he would have spent just a bit more time with me to go over my concerns…felt a little rushed.

11 years ago I had should surgery. Dr T was patient, understanding and explained everything. My surgery was successful and pt was professional. I injured my shoulder this year and was so happy that Dr T was still in practice. 11 years later still as caring and concerned. Would recommend Dr T for all shoulder issues.

Very happy with my results from surgery. I suffered from something I've never heard anyone else having. Dr. Troxell said he's treated symptoms like mine before he was quick to operate and knew what he was doing and most importantly he knew surgery was the only option. My recovery has been slow but steady. Again I'm very happy with him and my results.

As a doctor he is great. Knows wgat is happening with knees. Didn't appreciate him telling me to get the covid vaccine, because if I don't I will get covid. My decision, I never said one way or the other to him.

Usually I give the highest rating but yesterday I felt Dr. Troxel was rushed and didn’t fully examine me. He ordered an mri. Perhaps he decided not to do a further exam because he would see from the mri what the issue is. He didn’t do anything wrong or brush me aside. I just left feeling like “that’s it?”

Good so far——

He was very thorough in going over my MRI film with me, pointing out everything needing fixed and told me how he was going to fix it..

We sat for an hour and a half in what was supposed to be "urgent" care.

Dr Troxell was pleasant and polite.He addressed all of my concerns.He allowed ample time for visit which was a pleasant surprise as many specialist visits seem hurried.

I did not see him the day of my surgery. They had to reschedule my appointment with him and I saw his assistant instead at my followup appointment. I finalize saw him a month after my surgery for s follow up and he seemed to rush the visit. I felt that my concerns were not important enough for his time.

Wasn’t told what to do to manage my pain or problem. Therapy and injections were ordered, but nothing else. To walk or not to walk, heat or ice, to elevate or not, get a brace or not...? Dismissed the MRI report as “exaggeration”. Very confused.

The PA is outstanding. The DO should have taken the time to review my records more carefully. He ordered blood work my GP already ordered.

Dr Troxell did a great job with my knee. Everything has progressed as smoothly as possible.

Instead of suggesting surgery for a broken arm with displacement, Dr Troxell suggested allowing the bone to return to it"s normal alignment naturally, through gravity. Always happy to avoid surgery! So far,so good.
