As a board certified orthopedic surgeon, I specialize in the comprehensive care of the patient with focused interest in minimally invasive joint replacement and joint revision. About Dr. Rothrock
Dr. Rothrock is a native of Clay Center, NE and joined Orthopedic Institute in 2009. Prior to that, his training took him across the United States. He completed his residency in Orlando, FL, where he gained extensive experience in care of the trauma patient, including operative experience with pelvic and acetabular surgery. He then moved to New York where he completed a year of subspecialty training in musculoskeletal oncology and he became an expert in limb salvage surgery and adept at tumor resection. He practiced in Louisville, KY before returning to the Midwest to be close to family.
Dr. Rothrock is an expert in hip and knee joint reconstruction and revision surgery, minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacement, pelvic and extremity trauma, and arthroscopic surgery. He was the first doctor in this region to introduce the anterior “from the front” hip replacement surgery to patients.

When Dr. Rothrock isn’t taking care of his patients, he enjoys hunting, especially big game, and spending time with his family.
