I recently discovered I tore my right rotator cuff. Dr. Zeigler fixed my left one last year. It was a great success and I am confident this one will be as well! Very professional and explains the entire process.

Was very professional and listened to my issues and seemed to really want to fix it.

My situation was a unique one for a fairly normal meniscus tear. Healing took longer than expected but, Dr. Zeigler and his team helped me through every step of the process (including an unexpected stay at the hospital). Today I look forward to my walks with a fairly pain-free knee! At 65, that feels pretty good…There is no question that I will always check in at New England orthopedic if/when I am ever in that situation again.

It took him 40 minutes to see me despite me checking in 10 minutes early. When he came in the room I felt like he wasn’t listening to my concerns. I didn’t feel heard after waiting 40 minutes to be seen, He also made it a point to make my weight a focal point of my appointment told me he can’t help me there telling me I have to see my primary he said it twice when I was asking my options regarding my knee so I can do all the things I use to love before my knee became a major issue. definitely not a person I would see again.

Dr. Zeigler was amazing from my first visit til my last. So many people told me horror stories about the pain and long recovery of shoulder surgery. I experienced none of that. From the time I got home I only needed 1 Tylenol every 6 hrs no narcotics. For therapy I will be released next week only 3 months after surgery. I attribute this to the professional and excellent job Dr Zeigler has done. Following his protocol after surgery is of utmost importance for maxim results. Another important tool would be to purchase the automatic cooling system.a must have. Again thank you Dr Zeigler and your staff. Bob Granger

He saw me a couple days after I saw the PA Who told me I would have my surgery done through Dr. Zeigler. Then Dr. Zeigler told me that he does not do this kind of surgery on 50 year olds. I am 49. I was not pleased and will be seeing a second opinion.

Went in for what I thought was a torn rotator cuff and expected the "we need to do surgery" reply. Turns out it's arthritis and that irritated the tendons and such in the area. Cortisone shot and some Advil for a couple of weeks while being careful with it should do the trick. If it doesn't, other steps will be discussed. Dr. Zeigler didn't jump first to the more invasive surgery remedy for what most likely doesn't need surgery and instead sought a more conservative resolution. I respect that and now, here's hoping it all works out :)

Dr. Zeigler is truly the best surgeon I’ve been with, and trust me I would know. I had a very complex sports injury and completely tore my PCL along with other structural components in my left knee. I’ve seen many surgeons in the past to help design a path forward, and none of them came close in expertise to Dr. Zeigler. He performed a two-stage PCL revision surgery due to failure of a previous operation done at another well known hospital. This man gave me my life back. He’s personable, answers all your questions, and will always be there for you. If you have any sort of injury, I highly recommend him. The first visit with him, you’ll know right away what type of surgeon you’ll have. A guy you can 100% trust and someone who will share optimism with you. It’s not just the physical aspect of an injury, having a good mental state of mind is crucial and he’ll provide that for you. THANK YOU Dr. Zeigler!!!

Dr Ziegler and his team were nothing but the absolute best! I knew I messed something up with my knee and I needed it looked at. I didn’t know who to go see so i searched around online. I saw dr.Ziegler and read some reviews, shortly after i was confident he was a good choice. I learned that he practiced under someone that has been doing surgery for many, many years and he was really involved with his profession. He was able to figure out i broke my m.c.l. and p.c.l. simply by doing a couple test. He assured me that he would be able to fix my leg and I’d be able to walk normal again. His team quickly got me started moving forward to surgery. I knew i was in great hands and was no longer nervous. Surgery went perfectly! Physical therapy came next and again I heard nothing but great things about dr.Ziegler at p.t.. So thankful to have had dr. Ziegler and his really excellent team! My knee no longer hurts and I’m able to do the things I used to be able to do.

Dr. Zeigler was not only knowledgeable about my disorder that complicates my labral tear, but he also is a lovely and caring person. I came to him for a second opinion after a bad experience elsewhere, and he caught mild hip dysplasia. After PT he referred me to a specialist in Boston so I can get the best treatment for my complicated case and that makes me feel so comfortable and confident in his care.

Only comment would be that he could have explained how knee would be after cortisone shot- I hadn’t expected the level of pain and swelling the next day. An after care info sheet would be helpful.

Dr Ziegler is the utmost of professionalism. All business most of the time but once in a while there is a personal glint which makes the patient more relaxed to see that. I could very easily rate Dr Ziegler at the highest, however, I was once told in my business college era that rating anyone/anything at the highest indicates everything is perfect when in reality no one is perfect. There is always room for improvement.
