I have never gone to a specialist who is so kind, understanding, and willing to listen!! You can tell Dr. Healey actually cares about his patients and actually wants to help them get better! He took his time and didn’t rush the appt! He takes his time to explain things and allows time for you to ask any questions. If your looking for a doctor who truly cares about you getting better, has compassion, and is highly knowledgeable in their field Dr. Healey is the doctor!! Highly recommend!!!

Very personable. Is empathetic and listens to what you have to say. He doesn't get put out if you disagree with him about the side effects and need for the medications that had been prescribed for you. He also doesn't disparage or argue about the efficacy of using supplements to replace certain prescription drugs, that have/had major side effects. I find that refreshing.

Dr Healey is an excellent cardiologist. He takes such great care of my father who has complex cardiac problems.
He listens carefully to my dad‘s concerns and demonstrates a very caring approach. We just love him and so glad he is part of my dad’s care team.

Dr. Connor Healey, M.D. was raised in Eastern Ontario, Canada and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada where he graduated cum laude. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship at NYU Winthrop Hospital on Long Island.
Dr. Healey holds board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, as well as subspecialty certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Healey has a wide variety of interests in general cardiology in his role as a non-invasive practitioner. His patients present for guidance and treatment of congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation and other cardiac dysrhythmias. They also seek expertise on preventive cardiology, risk stratification and pre-operative assessment. He believes in an individualized approach to cardiac care and emphasizes shared decision-making with his patients.
He is married to his loving wife who is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at Albany Medical Center. They have 2 young, energetic daughters. Outside of work Dr. Healey enjoys many athletic activities including golf, baseball, table tennis, and hockey. He is a loyal fan of the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Blue Jays.
