Dr. Connie Novak, M.D., chose to specialize in family medicine because it allows her to care for multiple generations and build lasting relationships with her patients. Growing up as one of ten children on a cattle ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska, her childhood experience of nurturing sick farm animals instilled in her a deep compassion that she carried over into her career. She knew that being a family physician would give her the opportunity to make a significant difference in the health and well-being of her patients.
Dr. Novak earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed her residency at Truman Medical Center East. Her special areas of interest include Obstetrics, Women's Health, and Pediatrics.
She serves on Memorial Hospital's Obstetrics Committee and is the Coroner's physician for Seward County. In her free time, she enjoys running, golfing, and snow skiing, and she loves watching Husker women's volleyball.
