Colleen P. McNally, MD, FACOG

Dr. Colleen McNally graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1988. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Lying-in Hospital. Since her residency, Dr. McNally has worked diligently to offer comprehensive reproductive health care across the lifespan for women in both obstetrics and gynecology.

Before joining Fertility Specialist Medical Group in 2021, Dr. McNally worked at UC San Diego as an attending physician. Prior to UCSD, Dr. McNally was a partner with Women’s Health Care in San Diego, California. In addition to her private practice, Dr. McNally served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Infants, and she is dedicated to ensuring quality patient care and safety.

Dr. McNally provides nurturing care for women through all the stages of life — from childhood, reproduction, and menopause. Her professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, preconception and obstetrical care, preventive health, and treatment of the symptoms of menopause. Her personalized approach to patient care combines individualized support coupled with evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and quality. In her spare time, Dr. McNally is an active community volunteer, an avid traveler and hiker with her husband, and a mother to three adult children.
