It was our first time meeting with Dr. Neumann. He was professional and great with my kids (2yrs and 4yrs). He answered my questions and was kind. My 2yr old was at ease with him, he’s usually not at ease with doctors. I’m looking forward to working with him.

I came into the appointment scared of being dismissed after three months of ongoing symptoms, and that is exactly what happened.
You told me my condition looked “normal” and said, “if I were to look at yours in a lineup of throats, it looks normal.” If that were truly the case, then another medical professional would not have referred me to a specialist. I would not be paying out of pocket to seek further care if this was not seriously affecting my health and quality of life.
I came looking for answers and guidance and instead felt rushed, dismissed, and unheard. Patients deserve to have their concerns taken seriously, especially when they are clearly struggling and asking for help.
I will continue seeking the care I deserve.

Colin Neumann, M.D. grew up in Northern Kentucky but moved to Louisville for college where he played baseball at Bellarmine University. He then went on to receive his medical degree at the University of Louisville. Upon graduating from medical school, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Despite his time away from Louisville, he couldn’t wait to return home and practice all aspects of Otolaryngology in Louisville.
Dr. Neumann loves and embraces all aspects of Otolaryngology but a few of his favorite and expert areas are in treating thyroid and parathyroid disorders, sinus disease and their underlying allergies, endoscopic approaches to the anterior skull base, pediatric related head and neck disorders, as well as facial plastics procedures such as functional rhinoplasty and Mohs reconstruction.
Dr. Neumann and his wife, Sarah, are excited to be back in Louisville with their son Connor. During his free time, Dr. Neumann enjoys playing golf, cycling, and cheering on both the Bellarmine Knights and Kentucky Wildcats.
