Dr. Wheeless is an awesome doctor and has your best interest in mind. I’ve been dealing with him since 2001 when he corrected a surgery I had a year before. I recommend him for any of your orthopedics needs.

Dr. Wheeless far exceeds any other Orthopedic Surgeon. I’ve been traveling 5 hours one way to see him for 13 years from Charleston, SC. His knowledge and expertise is well worth the drive and he’s better than anyone in Charleston or the surrounding areas. He has his patient’s best interest at heart and does everything he can to help them. Believe me, I have been a challenge for him with my metal allergies and he is the best.

Dr. Wheeless is the best Orthopedic doc that you will find: excellent surgeon, diagnostician, creates an effective treatment plan for patients, and follows up over time to revisit the condition of patients and adjust treatment plan as needed. Orthonc has physical therapy facilities, to which he will refer patients as required.

Down to earth and easy to talk with. He gave very sensible options and went into specifics which I appreciate.

Spent very little time with me. I still had questions for him, he left the room and didn't come back! Didn't even bother to apply a band-aid after receiving a shot, got home and there was blood on the back of my pants. Granted a small amount of blood but still.. Think I have to find another MD.

I love Dr. wheeless talk to you so you can understand about what’s going on with you. I went in with a broken kneecap, and he went above and beyond to find out why it happened not just because it happened so with his blood test he ordered. I have a few deficiencies that needed to be addressed. So thankful that he did that.

My only complaint is he’s always behind an hour or more.

Does not spend enough time talking to me or explaining what is wrong.

He is always quick to help make my life better. I need a knee replacement and am in serious pain. He ordered a nerve block today to help till surgery.

I saw him for a second opinion post op and everyone was. Dry nice and ddreas very thorough and nice!

Honestly, I felt like the problem wasn’t addressed and it’s being overlooked just to be put on some “supplements” that he uses. I don’t understand how a vitamin supplement will fix a deterioration in the disc.

Doctor Wheeless operated on my Patella tendon for a bad knee injury I suffered falling in a hole. After surgery I met regularly with him and am recovering now. I think he did a great job. He told me in the very beginning that he was going to do blood work and that he felt this was very important. He found I had low T and prescribed me T. He was very attentive and helped me go on Amazon and buy supplements. He took the time to tell me about his father health and his own quest to improve his personal health. Adam Brewer was always there and carefully removed my stenches

I just submitting OK because I never met him. My appt was at 9:30am, at 10am Adam came in gave me 2 shots and took great care of me and walked out at 10:30am. It was a long line to check out, I tried to cut line and hand a rep my paper but she didn't take it and told me I had to wait in the long line so I left. 6 hours later my pain is still the same but hopefully I will feel better soon.
