He went on to double-major in Bioengineering and Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and subsequently completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases and Electrophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
