Dr. Claes Svendsen, M.D. is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, preventive-focused care for patients of all ages. Originally from Norway, he credits his parents’ influence of faith and healthy living as his inspiration to pursue medicine.
Dr. Svendsen moved to the United States at age 17 and earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University in California. He completed his internship at San Bernardino County Medical Center and his residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
His passion lies in preventive care, helping patients manage and reduce risks for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Outside of medicine, Dr. Svendsen enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and multiple grandchildren, as well as volunteering on medical mission trips through his church, Riverview Community Seventh-day Adventist Church, serving communities in Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Peru.
