Concern about her patient

I feel like I was not treated with individualized concern by the techs or Doctor. I was tested on a machine that I never used before and deserved an explanation as to what and why it was being used. When Doctor Ung came in to see me, she looked at the pictures of my eyes on the screen without explaining anything, then checked my eyes with her bright light took, then said everything is stable I will see you in 6 months. My eyes were completely dilated and I felt like… what in the world just happened??? I had a delayed response after I left with my husband and thought, I think I would like to request another retina specialist because of my impersonal experience.

Her delay in seeing patients has not improved.. I am bombardeo with text messages to be on time, BUT, she’s always late seeing me. Very frustrating.

The reception area was packed wall-to-wall with people. At one point there were not enough seats for everyone to sit down. I waited for over 30 minutes before my appointment even started and was there 2+ hours for a routine check up. This is sub-part to other Retina offices that I have visited and I have no desire to go back.

Dr. Ung has been very supportive and helpful to me during my treatment with my eyes. I consider myself a bit of a coward when it comes to pain especially if it involves my eyes. Dr. Ung and her Staff have done so much to make me feel comfortable and confident in their care.
