The doctor is very good! The center leaves you very disappointed. The employees are all very efficient but the clinic itself is a nightmare!!!!!! Overcrowded!!!!Being shifted from one waiting room to another. Very unprofessional.

It was the first time meeting her and she was just lovely. It was also a bonus that she spoke Spanish, so my mother was very comfortable. She was extremely professional and very informative.

Dr. Romano performed my surgery, and he was very good, as was the support staff, and the doctor who removed my bandages. The reason for the low score is because I was disappointed with my follow up appointment with Dr. Calderon. She did not seem to know my name, and her bedside manner was poor - rushed and cold. Very incomplete follow up to my procedure - the prognosis, after-care, effects, treatment, etc. I hope it was a success!

Dr. Calderon was excellent. However, the service at her office was so bad, I may look for a new doctor. Two plus hours because someone didn’t move my chart along correctly - when I complained, they started rushing me through but no one apologized, acknowledged, or took ownership for the mistake - just saw a red note on my pepper work to expedite me. No one told the doctor either - until I did. She’s great but the combo of the staff and the poor facility (disgusting bathroom - dirty with dust and some mold - same as last time I was there 6 months ago) may compel me to go elsewhere.

Dr. Calderon was very through and knowledgeable. She conducted and reviewed my exam results with such thoroughness and provided guidance as to next steps needed. I am most appreciative in her interest in helping me understand the prognosis of my exam. I visited many specialist within the last year and left their office in tears because I wasn’t clear on what was happening with my case which seemed to be somewhat of an unique case but I felt extremely confident knowing and what needs to occur next. Sincere thank to this doctor!!!

Took the time to go over everything and help me understand what was going on with my eyes and what might be causing it. The staff were incredible and made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way.

When my regular eye doctor's office told me the earliest they could see me was in 2 1/2 months, I remembered that someone I play bridge with recommended "Retina Center of New Jersey". The receptionist at RCNJ scheduled an appointment for me with Dr. Calderon on the same day, an hour and a half later! All the staff who tested my eyes were first rate and the machines were state of the art. Dr. Calderon gave me an expert diagnosis, scheduled me for follow up testing, and coordinated with my primary internist to ensure they worked together on my eye issue. In this day and age of impersonal, perfunctory care, I am very glad there are still quality, caring, thoughtful medical professionals and staff at RCNR. Bravo to Dr. Calderon and the staff at Retina Center of New Jersey.

I have been to see 2 other doctors in the group numerous times for the same reason and was very satisfied but Dr. Caldron tried to apply pressure to my eye with an instrument 3 times and I couldn't tolerate the pressure. She said that other patients have said she is gentle with her technique but I disagree. Don't even remember haven't that procedure done with the other doctors.Have recommended Dr. Kallina to several friends but would definitely not recommend her.
