Dr. Christopher Tkach grew up around orthopedics with both his father and grandfather practicing orthopedic medicine at McBride. He knew when he left for college practicing medicine was his goal, but it wasn’t until medical school he discovered a desire to pursue a surgical aspect. He realized quickly there was “one specialty that helped people the most significantly and consistently and that was orthopedics” – he also realized immediately joint reconstruction is a life-changing surgery, which has an enormous effect on quality of life. Dr. Tkach believes providing a passageway for patients to return to basic activities can alter the trajectory of their attitude and overall wellness. He is excited to come to work every day to partner with patients on an effective course of action and unlock new opportunities for positive health. Surgery went well with no complications. He is very professional and took time to answer any of my questions/concerns.
I have had the best experience with my anterior hip replacement surgery, Dr. Tkach and the McBride staff. I can not recommend them enough if you are in need of this surgery.
Interested in my health issues. Explained procedure of hip replacement. He answered all my questions and offered to answer more if needed. He told me voice is up to me as to when I feel I am ready for surgery.
Very pleased with the entire experience.
I think you're going to get my knee finally right!

This is the first time I've met Dr. Tkachuk but I'm impressed! His demeanor and compassion is outstanding.... as everyone at McBride!
