Dr. Christopher Swanson is a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Later, he completed a residency at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Following his residency, Dr. Swanson finished a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder and knee surgery at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Cincinnati, OH.
Dr. Swanson is the former assistant team physician for the Cincinnati Bengals and Drexel University Men’s Basketball Team. He was professional, kind, friendly, understanding. Explained all options throughly making sure we understood the options. He proceeded with suggestions on a plan. We were most impressed with Dr Swanson. He picked up my husbands cognitive situation and was most compassionate , understanding and kind. I Highly , Highly recommended Dr Swanson to anyone reading this.
He gave clear instructions and read his patient well.
Dr.Swanson has been a tremendous Doctor for myself, from my first visit after my accident, he was very informative in what my steps would be to fix my shoulder, the pre surgery directions were precise, yet simple, surgery went well,Ryan was very upfront with what I would expect at PT, the follow up has been a lot of help to me, recovery has been great.
