Christopher Stauch, M.D.

Christopher Stauch, M.D., received his residency training at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Wilford Hall Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he honed his expertise in advanced procedures and comprehensive GI care.

As an officer in the United States Air Force, Dr. Stauch distinguished himself through exceptional leadership and service. During his tenure as Chief of Gastroenterology at Eglin Air Force Base Medical Center in Florida, he held multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Infusion Clinic and Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He was instrumental in advancing patient care, managing both inpatient and outpatient consultations, and performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, single balloon enteroscopy, capsule endoscopy, Bravo pH studies, high-resolution manometry, paracentesis, basic ERCP, and hemorrhoid banding.

Dr. Stauch has also provided exceptional locum tenens services in hospitals across Montana and Iowa, where he delivered specialized care as a gastroenterology hospitalist. His professional affiliations include the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Medical Association.
