Dr. Christopher Soriano, M.D., is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist with a passion for clinical research and a commitment to family and community.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences from Boston University. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College.
Dr. Soriano completed his internship and residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he later served as Chief Medical Resident. He stayed at Penn State for fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. During his residency and fellowship, he was productive in clinical research, presenting at multiple national meetings and publishing articles in several top gastroenterology journals.
In his free time, Dr. Soriano enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. He is an avid fan of Notre Dame Football and the New York Yankees, Rangers, and Giants. He is excited to return to northern New Jersey to join Dr. Barbarito and his father, Dr. John Soriano, in practice.
