Dr. Shaver is an excellent physician. He is informative and has recommended treatment plans which have improved my diagnosis. He plans for the future options, should current treatments become ineffective. I would, and have, recommended him to anyone looking for a gastroenterologist. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Shaver. My husband has experienced great care, too.

I saw Dr Shaver for the first time today after seeing his NP 3 months ago. He asked relevant questions about my response to a new medication prescribed at my previous appointment. He was attentive to my responses, and asked some great follow up questions before suggesting an additional treatment to improve my condition. Dr Shaver both professional and caring. I am optimistic about his treatment plan. For the first time in years, I have hope that my condition will improve.

Dr. Shaver is very proactive in ensuring my well being. He explains medical terms to me in a very detailed and easily understood manner. In providing his services he sets goals for me including the use of dietians and care givers to help me reach those goals. Dr. Shaver, by ensuring I am well informed medically, helps me so much in getting where I need be. His nurse practices is second to none.
