Dr. Christopher Reb is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship-trained in foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Reb focuses on personalized care for injuries and conditions affecting the leg, ankle, foot, and toes — including trauma, arthritis, sports injuries, and deformities. He works closely with each patient to find the best treatment plan for their needs and lifestyle.
A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Reb previously served as Chief of Foot & Ankle Surgery at the University of Florida, where he currently co-leads the SynFACS Lab in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is Editor-in-Chief of Foot & Ankle Specialist, a board examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and serves on the board of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgery Foundation.
Dr. Reb’s research centers on ankle trauma, reconstruction, and biomechanics. His work with Jennifer Nichols, PhD has produced advanced models of the leg and ankle, numerous publications, and a U.S. patent for surgical innovation. He has lead value-based care initiatives at UF Health Shands and the VA addressing clinical outcome benchmarking, surgical cost tracking, and multidisciplinary limb salvage programs focused on patient safety and quality improvement. An accomplished educator, Dr. Reb has mentored countless students, residents, and fellows and has chaired academic and professional committees at every level. He regularly presents research and educational content nationally and internationally, serving as both speaker and organizer for orthopedic symposia.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Reb enjoys spending time with his family, working on home projects, and exploring the outdoors. A tractor and machinery enthusiast, he often involves his children in hands-on projects and family activities such as sports, beach outings, and movie nights.
