Dr. Christopher Parks is a member of the TOC General Orthopaedics and the Joint Replacement Centers of Excellence. Dr. Parks earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas where he served the University of Arkansas football team as a sideline physician. He continued his education and training by completing a fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Parks is one of only 3 surgeons in North Alabama who are fellowship-trained in total joint replacement.

Dr. Parks did my knee replacement and my hip replacement all in 2025. I was very impressed with his expertise and Surgical skills! Plus he is a very nice doctor.
Dr Parks is more than just a professional. He has a genuine concern for his patients. He is very rarely in a rush, he gives you the time to discuss how you are feeling and to discuss any issues you are experiencing. He is compassionate and caring. I have recommended Dr. Parks to several of my friends. He is by far my favorite doctor. I wish more doctors were like him. He is outstanding.
Dr Parks is excellent. Very friendly, answers all your questions and doesn’t make you feel stupid for asking.
Dr. Parks is always so encouraging as I deal with the aches and pains (and arthritis!) of growing older. He helps to make this journey easier.
First visit was the first time I met him. He is an awesome doctor, very approachable, friendly, and explain it to whatever is going on you make you feel comfortable with his decisions and help you make your decisions correctly. Good doctor.
Very detailed and gets right to the point. He didn’t rushed me out of the office, he listened to all my concerns and addressed everyone.
