Dr. Christopher Parks is a member of the TOC General Orthopaedics and the Joint Replacement Centers of Excellence. Dr. Parks earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas where he served the University of Arkansas football team as a sideline physician. He continued his education and training by completing a fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Parks is one of only 3 surgeons in North Alabama who are fellowship-trained in total joint replacement.

Great visit with this doctor! He is a very good listener and took time to explain his observations to me. I appreciated his friendly but respectful treatment of me. And I didn’t have a long wait in the lobby!
I love Dr. Parks. However, I do not love his office manager who gives him one minute per patient. He is not that doctor. He takes his time with you, he explains things thoroughly, and he listens to you. I had to wait almost two hours for my appointment. That is not acceptable. Do you honestly think that he can only spend two minutes per patient? Do better
Dr. Parks is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and truly understands the difference between what is needed medically, vs what offers the best outcome for the practice. If surgery can be avoided, he lays out a treatment plan, and, it works. Not a typical Ortho buy, at all! Highly recommend!
If ten was the highest Dr. Parks would be just that 🙂
