He remained in the Philadelphia area for his training where he attended medical school at Temple University. During that time he developed skill and expertise in both the medical and surgical management of a wide variety of Urologic conditions under the mentorship of nationally and internationally recognized faculty. Dr. Miller has authored or co-authored numerous publications, some of which were presented at national meetings.
Dr. Miller is excited to be back in central Pennsylvania and practicing in Lancaster. He remains enthusiastic about what first attracted him to the field, the wide breadth of General Urology and that it allows its practitioners to form long-lasting relationships with patients. His areas of clinical interest include BPH, lower urinary tract symptoms, kidney stones and minimally invasive/robotic urologic cancer care. He believes strongly in the importance of shared decision making with his patients and does not advocate a one-size-fits-all approach. With that in mind, he prides himself on patient counseling and communication as he helps patients explore their options to reach a treatment plan. He also speaks Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their son Hudson as well as staying active, jogging, watching football, and traveling.
Very satisfied with all contacts with Dr after some glitches in our first contact.
Dr. Miller always takes the time to review and explain everything.. on May 20 i had surgery to repair a colovesical fistula . My concern re my urethra n bladder are complicated because after surgery my catheter was not working and this caused my bladder to rupture 4 times. before the decision to flush the catheter.was made which started the catheter working and let the bladder heal.. Dr Miller has helped me understand the hosp notes and how the bladder etc works n heals itself. He admits he’s puzzled by the tingling pain i’m feeling down my arms when i pee and that honesty is refreshing. we are trying diff meds etc. My biggest problem is he wanted me back in 6 weeks but had no apts for 11 weeks. Availability is a huge problem!!!! as the portal is also frustrating as answers can take days ..
