A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Chrisopher Manion obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. Prior to joining OAA Orthopaedic Specialists in 2017, Dr. Manion practiced chiropractic medicine privately in the Lehigh Valley area for over twenty years. He has helped countless patients with medical issues related to their back, neck, hips, sacroiliac joints, and shoulders.
Dr. Manion’s education and experiences with sports, nutrition, chiropractic rehabilitation, and neurology allow him to provide chiropractic care that zeroes in on the specific issues his patients present with, while also caring for the whole person and their overall posture, optimal function, and vitality. As someone that once suffered from back pain, Dr. Manion sees the value of good health and understands how debilitating pain can be for people of all ages. He takes great joy in alleviating or diminishing his patients’ pain and strives to care for his patients the same way he cares for his family.
Dr. Manion is the official chiropractor for Delaware Valley University athletics and he also enjoys participating in marathons, triathlons, adventure races, and ultras. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, watching sports, playing tennis, and going to the beach.
Following the tragic death of his nephew, Travis, in The Iraq War, Dr. Manion and his family have been very active in the Travis Manion Foundation. Dr. Manion was great! He took time to listen to my symptoms and asked good questions before he started treatment. I love that he worked on loosening muscles before making any adjustments!

Always makes me feel so much better. Told him where pain was, and he immediately made adjustment that helped ease the pain.
Just visited Dr. Chris yesterday for my monthly back treatment for spinal stenosis and facet joint issue. As always, he takes care of the pain with specific techniques, including back vibratory massage to first relax the tight muscles, followed by the adjustments. Always feel great when I leave, and so far, after about 9 months/10 visits, no more steroid injections needed! What a blessing that’s been……Thanks Doc! PS - We have great discussions too!

I judge physicians by the ability to have a two way discussion. We exchanged ideas for ~45 min. I explained my history dealing with inflammation. He listened & then suggested an approach that covered my entire body rather than targeting 1 area. His manual actions were firm but comforting. We discussed use of supplements in addition to the anti inflammation meds I am now using. We agreed to continue my care.
Always willing to listen and addresses any concerns. I always recommend Dr. Manion to anyone looking for a great chiropractor and person.
