Dr. Christopher Hansen, M.D., received his medical doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. He then joined the Air Force, where he practiced medicine as a flight surgeon.
During his time in the Air Force, Dr. Hansen received many prestigious honors, such as Flight Surgeon of the Year, Air Force Commendation Medal, Armed Forces, and the Expeditionary Medal. He also received the Meritorious Service Medal during his time stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City. After leaving the armed forces in 1998, he relocated to Rome, GA, where he completed his residency at Floyd Medical Center as a Family Medicine physician.

Dr Hansen is always kind, courteous, and patient. I never feel as though I am rushed.
Dr. Hansen has been my PCP for many years and I look forward to every appointment we have because he is very thorough in assessing my entire health condition and he makes sure that he refers me to a specialist to better address and understand my health issues so that appropriate services may be rendered to me. He makes sure I have refills of all my medications and he’s up to date with every aches, pains and complaints and he makes sure he does everything therapeutic and healing, according to his specialty in family practice.

Excellent Doctor, Good bedside manner, down to earth and efficient and quick loke most MD's are required to be these days as they are getting squeezed in order to be profitable. He finds good balance in the middle. MD Hansen quickly prescribed blood pressure and triglycerides, well after a year of me trying to get it down naturally, as a preventive measure before it became a problem. Like he told me its getting close to the line and 10 years like this is what kills you 10 years earlier. Anyway he makes it happen without being cold. My entire family sees him including my in laws. Good guy
