Dr. Christopher Hansen, M.D., received his medical doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. He then joined the Air Force, where he practiced medicine as a flight surgeon.
During his time in the Air Force, Dr. Hansen received many prestigious honors, such as Flight Surgeon of the Year, Air Force Commendation Medal, Armed Forces, and the Expeditionary Medal. He also received the Meritorious Service Medal during his time stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City. After leaving the armed forces in 1998, he relocated to Rome, GA, where he completed his residency at Floyd Medical Center as a Family Medicine physician.
Dr. Christopher Hansen is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in the treatment of blood pressure, cholesterol, preventive care, physicals, wellness exams, urgent care illnesses and chronic illnesses.
