Dr. Hammerle is amazing — very pleasant and polite. He explained everything clearly before the procedure and walked me through what to expect. Afterwards, I didn’t even realize anything had happened — I simply fell asleep and woke up feeling great.

Dr. Christopher Hammerle, M.D., is a native of California and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. He then completed medical school at Saint Louis University and did his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Colorado. After residency, he remained on faculty as Associate Professor of Medicine before moving to Charlottesville to complete a Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hammerle received advanced training in Interventional Endoscopy and Endoscopic Ultrasound at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was also involved in clinical research. He and his family arrived in Boise in the summer of 2012, when he joined IGA.
