Went to the ER Friday for a bad wrist injury, and was told by the ER doctor that he spoke to him, the on call doctor, at Emergeotho and gave him the run down of my situation and refered me to him on Monday morning. I got there, paid $250, waited to see him, then got in the room with him, only for him to tell me he doesn't operate on wrists and I'd have to be scheduled to see another doctor. So, I missed work got a $20 arm brace, and now the soonest doctor I can see from Emergeotho is the following friday, 7 days after I severed a tendon and chipped my bone in my wrist. I understand things happen, but the whole situation felt scamy and poorly communicated, so hopefully someone else gets better care than I did and gets to keep their $250. I called Monday morning and got an appointment with another doctor sooner, so I cancelled my other appointment with Emergeotho. Literally, the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is the arm brace, because it's actually helped some.

His assistant ( Makayla ) whom I started with, was very attentive, listening to my history. That means a lot to a patient.. Dr. Houdek was a good listener as I’m explaining my issues and symptoms. He was very knowledgeable. Very friendly and personable. He is the only one that has offered to show me my x-ray of my shoulder to give a better understanding of what is causing pain. We put a plan in place. I asked for a shot for some relief before leaving. I left my appointment filling hopeful.
