Great doctor, easy to understand and to talk to

I never in my life met a doc so gentle and caring I was afraid to go to my follow up but him and his staff made sure I was comfortable and made sure all my questions were answered….

Dr. Cosgrove was very clear on explaining how the patient's healing process was doing. Also, explained to continue her PT. She was excited she no longer had to wear the foot brace.

He is a wonderful surgeon and a wonderful communicator. Takes time to answer in detail.

Dr. Cosgrove has been phenomenal! He fixed my nasty talar fracture with absolute exquisite technique! Not to mention his follow-up care has been the best! I have had to travel back and forth from 3 hours away and he and his nurse have been super helpful! He has helped the healing process go smoothly! And he even tended to other extremities and asked about those that were being handled by my ortho doctor back home. Dr Cosgrove is hands down one of the best trauma surgeons in the south!

The nurses and doctor were amazing. Took time to answer all my questions and make sure I was knowledgeable about my operation and I'm truly worrying less; I know I'm in great hands.

Excellent bedside manner, well-spoken without talking “above” me so I could understand what was being said. Took his time, allowed for Q&A and we never felt rushed. Appreciate how he addressed my 16 y/o directly and made him a part of the co go. Surgery healing well and clear action plan in place. Overall, love him and would absolutely refer!

The best in the business

Good EXCEPT he rushed. He DID NOT explain side effects or contraindications of medicine. Turns out I can’t take the one that is supposed to deal with inflammation and pain. The other medication for nerve pain he would not call in until I start physical therapy which doesn’t start until 10 days from now. So basically no medications to get me through this rough painful period of healing
