Christopher Bates, M.D., is excited to become a part of the community here and finally call Northeast Florida home. Dr. Christopher Bates grew up in Dalton, Georgia. Ever since being an exchange student in Germany in high school, he has loved to travel the world, and he has been blessed to continue this passion with his wife, Miranda. They have lived in several states and have recently relocated from California. Their families have both spent ample time in the St. Simons area and are very familiar with north Florida. Dr. Bates enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, golf, and loves to spend his time off with his son, Brody, and his daughter, London. He is also a major college football fan. Go Dawgs!
Very thorough, strait forward and up front.
I had a great experience with Dr. Bates and the entire surgical team at PVPS. Everyone was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The anesthesiologists were especially wonderful and deserve a special mention. There was one issue with my treatment plan, but the team handled it quickly and did everything they could to make things right. Things don’t always go perfectly, but the way a practice responds really says a lot. I am very happy with my experience and would 100% recommend Dr. Bates and the PVPS team.
