I saw Dr. Anderson for right hip pain that has been very persistent for about a year. I was afraid I might need a hip replacement. After taking x-rays, Dr. Anderson assured me that I did not need a hip replacement, but did give me a diagnosis of trochanteric bursitis. He gave me a steroid shot to help with pain and recommended PT. He had a great bedside manner, was very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and validated my pain. He spent time with me and I did not feel rushed. His nurse and PA were also wonderfull. I would highly recommend him.

He is so personable and easy to visit with. I would choose Dr. Anderson anytime I needed orthopedic surgery.

Very excellent physician. He is very professional, courteous and caring. He offers suggestions to help improve your condition and allows the patient to make a decision related to their care plan.

I'm 76 years old and very active. I hit the gym 3 times a week for a 90 minute workouts (free weights, resistance machines and 30 minutes on the rowing machine). So why the heck do I need to see an Ortho? I have a knee that has deteriorated over time with cartilage separation almost reaching the point of bone on bone, causing serious pain at times, traversing steep terrain. But what alarmed me the most was my knee going out frequently, causing me to almost go to the ground without warning. I spent several hours researching knee doctor reviews and came to the conclusion that Dr. Anderson is who I wanted to see. His x-rays revealed my cartilage condition. His conclusion: "I would not recommend knee replacement at this time, because It is a serious surgery in terms of recovery time. Instead, I recommend a steroid shot, only as needed, spaced no closer than 90 days apart. WOW. My pain was gone within hours and my knee returned to totally normal. I went 5 months before needing another.

I’m very appreciative of the care and concern of Dr Anderson. Tops in my opinion.

I have a knee that has been giving out and buckling on me. Dr. Anderson did x-rays and quickly diagnosed my problem. Arthritis and almost bone on bone, making my knee very unstable. Although I would get relief with a knee replacement surgery, he was quick to say, "That would be extreme in my view because you are not in constant pain and that is a very serous operation which entails considerable post op therapy. I would wait to make that decision." Christopher is very honest and is considered the best knee surgeon in Wichita. Total confidence in his diagnosis and approach. Cream of the Crop Doctor.

Dr. Anderson is an amazing doctor. I came to him after seeing multiple doctors with AVN. No one else would do my surgery because of my weight even though I had worked and lost over 160 lbs. He listened to me about everything I had been through the last year and he said let’s do it. He explained my risks and took the time to make me understand what I would be facing. To me a doctor who has patience, who listens to his patients, who is honest with them, and can be compassionate all while making sure he remains professional is one of a kind. I would recommend if you need a total hip replacement, or knee replacement make an appointment with him you won’t regret it.

I was hesitant to try a new ortho Dr. as all my orthopedic procedures had been done by the same Dr. that I had really, over the years, relied upon, trusted and liked. He retired. Running a bit late, but everything else was very good. Dr. Anderson was very thorough and answered my questions. Staff was also excellent, very courteous.

One knee replaced and 1 to go. Wouldn't have anyone else do it. I felt comfortable with him as secure with his skills and training as a surgeon

Dr Anderson performed a difficult hip replacement on me. Another surgeon refused to perform the surgery unless I lost weight, but Dr Anderson agreed to do it. He did an excellent job, and I am well on my way to complete recovery.
