Dr. Christopher Aderman is originally from Maine and completed his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at Bowdoin College, graduating magna cum laude. He went on to study retinal disease in a lab in Boston before attending Harvard Medical school where he received his M.D. degree. He completed his medical internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School and his ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Aderman completed his vitreoretinal surgery training at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He was one of 4 retina fellows in the country to receive a Ron Michels Foundation Fellowship Award. He has published numerous articles in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and has served as an investigator on many clinical trials. Dr. Aderman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and The American Society of Retinal Specialists.
In his spare time, Dr. Aderman enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, and golfing.
