Terrible experience!!
Grandview ER recommended Dr. Heck after a late night visit to ER with the worse neck pain I’ve ever had in my life. I cannot move my head left to right with a pain level of 10. Dr. Heck came in told me I had arthritis with bone to bone and pulled my head straight up, said does that feel better?? You need PT for a month and I will see you after that. He got up and walked out. The nurse came back in and gave me the PT notes which were “neck pain”. Then when making the one month appt. I learned that he wanted me to see his PA. Ive been a blue collar worker for over 40 years and I have never missed work 3 days in a row for health reasons. This is a very big concern to me and my family. To be treated like nothing by a Doctor of Medicine is humiliating. Don’t waste your time or money with Dr. Heck.

Really like Dr Heck. Listens to my concerns and then suggests various solutions or options for me. I’ve seen him for multiple orthopedic problems and he has solved them all.
Dr. Christopher A. Heck joined Southlake Orthopaedics in January 2018. Prior to joining our team, Dr. Heck practiced orthopaedics in Montgomery, Alabama for the last 10 years specializing in spine surgery. Dr. Heck always thought he would follow in his father’s footsteps becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. Instead, he quickly learned in medical school he had a strong love for physics and orthopaedics became the surgical field he would choose. Dr. Heck is from Mobile, Alabama.
