If I could put 0, I would! Highly NOT recommendable! Left with pain after "experimental study" was done and did not feel accommodated per my visit. Not coming back

Same old same old. Jumping through insurance hoops. Not solving problems here. Didn’t seem to understand daily chronic pain. Anti inflammatories and physical therapy are useless. Is he my guy for critical surgery? Not from the consult I just had. No care for the current dire situation. Very limited exam. I had to ask him to show me the x ray to explain its findings. So better sheesh

Very personable. Did not push surgery. Gave options and listed why each would work. He helped me make a decision on fusion. I Feel like Dr Heck was in Gods plan for me. I’m grateful for him.

Excellent doctor and surgeon. He explains everything he is doing in plain English and answers every question asked.
Dr. Christopher A. Heck joined Southlake Orthopaedics in January 2018. Prior to joining our team, Dr. Heck practiced orthopaedics in Montgomery, Alabama for the last 10 years specializing in spine surgery. Dr. Heck always thought he would follow in his father’s footsteps becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. Instead, he quickly learned in medical school he had a strong love for physics and orthopaedics became the surgical field he would choose. Dr. Heck is from Mobile, Alabama.
