This was my first time meeting Dr. Heck in person, although I did speak to him by phone once before to discuss my treatment options. He was very professional and familiar with my history and complaint.

Even though he was not able to help me, he was one of the most caring doctors I have seen. In the last year I have seen so many specialists and Dr. Heck more than once. But this last visit with him, he took so much time with me. I really thought he would be able to help me but unfortunately he couldn’t. He was still so kind and caring. Thank you Dr. Heck.
Dr. Christopher A. Heck joined Southlake Orthopaedics in January 2018. Prior to joining our team, Dr. Heck practiced orthopaedics in Montgomery, Alabama for the last 10 years specializing in spine surgery. Dr. Heck always thought he would follow in his father’s footsteps becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. Instead, he quickly learned in medical school he had a strong love for physics and orthopaedics became the surgical field he would choose. Dr. Heck is from Mobile, Alabama.

Dr. Heck and his wife, Susan, have two children. When Dr. Heck is not in surgery, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and traveling. He is also a car enthusiast.
