Background
Dr. DiPompeo grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She spent most of her youth playing sports and spending time with her family.
Dr. DiPompeo met her husband while she was in medical school at University of Illinois at Chicago. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time hiking and camping and has enjoyed sharing that passion with Dr. DiPompeo who has developed a love for it as well. Dr. DiPompeo and her husband are excited to share this passion with their two sons, Theodore and Phillip.
Education Pathway
After completing college at Northwestern University, Dr. DiPompeo earned a Masters in Health Management at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA then applied to medical school. She earned her medical degree at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Following medical school, Dr. DiPompeo was accepted into the Orthopedic Surgery residency program at Southern Illinois University where she trained for an additional 5 years before graduating. After this, Dr. DiPompeo completed a year-long fellowship to sub-specialize in adult spine surgery. She underwent her fellowship at the Center for Spine and Orthopaedics in Thorton, CO under Dr. Mike Janssen who is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on spinal disc replacement and motion preserving procedures of the spine.
After completing her training, Dr. DiPompeo went into practice as a spine surgeon in Peoria, IL. While in practice there, the opportunity to join the outstanding surgeons at Premier Bone and Joint Centers arose. After a year in the Denver area, Dr. DiPompeo and her husband knew they wanted to raise their children where the outdoor activities they enjoy were more accessible and she could not let the prospect of moving to Laramie and such an esteemed group let her by.
Took the time to answer all my questions. And explained everything that was going to happen.
I just loved her super sweet made sure I was taking care of. Was very concerned about my well-being.
Great first meeting
I felt fully informed and educated after my initial visit with Dr. diPompeo. Clear explanation without even a hint of condescension. Outstandingly professional.
She is very upfront and considerate she doesn't talk above your head with medical terms
She was so nice and willing to explain things in detail. I appreciate the time she took with me.
Very happy with the way she explained everything and decided that therapy was better as a first option in stead of shots or surgery.
Just examined me right in the chair, didn’t offer much.
I only saw her once will go higher when I see her again but she was very good for what I saw
GREAT nice good Dr.
