After graduating Fordham University summa cum laude with a dual major in Biology and English Literature, Dr. Scelfo went on to obtain her MD with the honor of Alpha Omega Alpha as part of the inaugural class of the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Following her intern year at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center where she was recognized for her dedication to resident teaching and research and served as chief resident.
