I really like her, she was kind to my child and was very knowledge and professional. I wish she would have spent a little bit more time with us. After the exam she seemed to rush out even though I was asking some.more questions.

This doctor squeeze the center of schedule took care of my daughter as if she was one of her patients but she was brand new to her I really appreciate it her communication with us we asked a lot of questions and she was very involved in making sure we understood what was happening I enjoyed the technician as well I feel like everyone is super friendly and I appreciate it seeing this doctor

The doctor was very helpful and kind, but it took forever to be seen. We arrived 25 minutes early for our appointment, and we're not seeing by the doctor until an hour after our appointment. After a brief consultation, they put in my box and needed us to wait another 30 minutes, followed by a further delay for a room. That's a long time to wait for a little kid!

After graduating Fordham University summa cum laude with a dual major in Biology and English Literature, Dr. Scelfo went on to obtain her MD with the honor of Alpha Omega Alpha as part of the inaugural class of the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Following her intern year at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center where she was recognized for her dedication to resident teaching and research and served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Dr. Scelfo routinely performs adjustable and non-adjustable sutures for her patients requiring strabismus surgery.
