I live in pain daily and am in the later years of my life. A doctor, in my opinion should be willing to at least discuss the patient’s current status and what the foremost complaint is. At my age and life stage, there are things that are most concerning. I left the office today feeling like I had been run over by a steam roller, with none of my immediate problems addressed and thoroughly confused. I am older and I don’t think as clearly as I once did but I deserve to be treated like my 15 minutes with a doctor at least mattered. Unfortunately that was not the case today. If you have no respect for your patient and cannot at least see them as a whole person, perhaps it would be best if your practice did not include face to face consults. I don’t mean to be argumentative but you asked for a rating so I decided to reply. I sincerely hope my comments help to give the next patient Dr. Christie sees, at least the feeling that they matter. Any patient deserves attention of their DR.
