I had a list of questions and he answered all of them. As well as giving me important information I needed for living with AFIB.

He joined Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA, with locations in Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida, in 2011.Dr. Perzanowski specializes in catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF), including more advanced forms of persistent AF. He obtained his ablation training for complex arrhythmias as well as cardiac rhythm device implants while completing a fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. His main focus is on the treatment of atrial fibrillation, particularly the use of novel software to better characterize the underlying heart tissue, shorten the procedure duration, and enhance outcomes. The use of fluoroscopy (X-rays) is very low with most procedures. Dr. Perzanowski takes a very personal approach to each patient and is devoted to continuous improvement in the care of patients with AF and other challenging arrhythmias. He enjoys participating in clinical research and has presented at major electrophysiology meetings. While a fellow at Duke University, he was inducted into Sigma Xi, the scientific research honor society. Dr. Perzanowski continues to maintain a close relationship with Duke University and is on the board directors of the Duke University Cooperative Cardiovascular Society (DUCCS). He most recently served as an investigator for the NIH-sponsored RAID trial.Dr. Perzanowski performs procedures at Brandon Regional and Tampa General Hospitals.
