Dr. Cuevas completed her dual residency training at Loma Linda University in southern California, in the combined Family and Preventive Medicine residency program. She was elected as Chief Resident and won awards for her work in quality improvement and patient safety. After graduating, she stayed on as faculty, training medical students and residents, while practicing primary care and addiction medicine at a Patient-Centered Medical Home in an underserved urban area. She also served for several years on the board of Directors of the California Academy of Preventive Medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Cuevas has done extra training in Lifestyle Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and has completed the University of California’s fellowship in Psychiatry for Primary Care Providers.
She went into the medical field to provide compassionate, ethical primary care to people in underserved communities. She chose her specialty training based on where she could best develop skills in whole-person care.
She chose to come to Gonzaba Medical Group because she wants to be a part of supporting its important mission and values as it grows.

She is so thoughtful and caring
Dr. Cuevas listened to all my concerns, & took the time to tell me what next steps would be after tests are done. Thank you, Dr. Cuevas!
Excellent. Ethic. Comprehensive approach to the patient's health status.
My favorite person
Dr Cuevas is the best! She is so knowledgeable; I trust her 100%. Stephanie her nurse, is great, so polite and patient. Thanks!
Very Professional!
She's very pleasant and she hears you out she takes her time to listen to your problem she's never on a rush and that's the reason why I like her keep your good job Christine.
Kind and caring
She was just fine . GONZABA's policies ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME. I am NOT GOING TO CHANGE ALL MY LONG-TERM SPECIALISTS AT AGE 85, i.e. Delee(hip-surgeon, Ellis(pain-management). NOW I'VE HEARD ALL ABOUT how y'all operate & I am NO LONGER INTERESTED in a medical group that DOES NOT RESPECT ME &/or MY HISTORY. It is OBVIOUSLY just a "money-grab". I will be reporting this to UHC.
Fablous
