Dr. Chris O'Grady, M.D., is more than just a nationally recognized shoulder specialist. As a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon, he holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine. He has devoted his life to treating any conditions that stem from the musculoskeletal system, many of which result from situations like injury, arthritis, excessive use and more.
He earned his medical degree and Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University. He completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. O'Grady also spent time with the United States Navy, operating out of the Pensacola Naval Hospital Department of Orthopedic Surgery as a staff member. There, he learned an invaluable amount about the various surgical and non-surgical procedures that he would eventually bring with him when he started his practice in Gulf Breeze, FL, in 2006. Dr. O'Grady believes it's vital to offer his patients the most comprehensive array of options, which is why he is an expert in surgical and non-surgical treatments. While shoulder injuries are one of his primary focuses, he also has a great deal of experience in knees and Regenerative Medicine.
