Was not impressed and he made me feel like I was stupid and he had no idea why I was there. Had to wait over an hour. Would not refer anyone to Dr. Hoed!

So happy I ended up here to have my full knee replacement done by Dr Hoedt. Was referred to him my orthopedic Dr from New Bern who said he was the Dr that could help me the most. He scheduled the surgery as soon as he could an I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Already had 3 PTs before I hit my 2 week mark. He took to listen an ask questions an cared what would be the best for me. Already recommended him to friend who has appointment with him in January.

Dr. Hoedt practiced in Nashville, TN for a couple of years before coming to Eastern North Carolina. He is a US Army combat veteran who returned from Syria in early 2023 where he was awarded an Army Commendation Medal.
He believes in an individualized approach to the management of hip and knee conditions. He actively engages the patient and their families in their care plan and incorporates the use of advanced techniques and technologies in a patient-specific fashion.
Outside of work, Dr. Hoedt enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and four amazing children at school events, extracurriculars, trips to the parks and beaches, and visiting family.
