Dr. Otojare explained what she was doing and why, which I appreciated. Also she called in another doctor to discuss my diagnosis, and explained why she did that. She is very kind, which means s lot when as a patient you might be fairly anxious. I am very grateful for her knowledge and her kindness.

Dr. Otojare is one of the best physicians that I have experienced in many years of using Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She is extremely thorough in her examinations and easily is willing to provide an explanation of the processes and procedures she follows during the exam. Dr. O saved my life. A few years ago she detected an issue with my optic nerve that is often a symptom of larger medical issues and had me seek emergency care. I felt absolutely fine and thought nothing was wrong. Little did I know I had underlying medical conditions. Early detection enabled me to promptly address those issues. The doctors and nurses who cared for me asked how I knew to seek help so quickly. When I advised my eye doctor told me, they all 1) said I had one hell of an eye doctor and 2) asked me for her info so they could refer other patients. Dr. O left the practice I originally went to. They would not disclose any info regarding her current practice. I saw another OD within the practice once. She was really good, but wasn’t Dr. O. It took me 2 years to track Dr. O down. I’ve seen her twice since December 2022. My vision issues (and overall health) have significantly improved. The staff at her current practice agree that you’d be hard pressed to find better!

My son has yet to get his results from last year he was there today at 2:30 and they were informed he had to leave by 4:30 to catch a flight. At 4pm he was told there were 3 people ahead and it would be at least an hour or more before he would be seen. His 2:45 appointment would have been until 5pm or later which is a 3 hrs wait unacceptable. I spoke with the office manager, and he could offer no options. I have asked and expect that Dr. Otojare call my son to discuss his last eye exam results and todays test results. He will be requesting his medical records so he can establish care in Charlotte, NC where he is currently living as coming home and being seen in this practice is no longer a valid option. My hope is that Dr. Otojare call my son this week to do a phone consultation, we both believe his test results will be normal as I cannot believe she would not have contacted him before now if there had been any real medical issues. Very very poor service at this practice.
