Dr Deshpande was very brief, he didn’t even go over any of the reports that he was sent. Asked me to get X-rays but did not explain what they said. He did not have any treatment planned or any options when he learned of my previous body reactions after steroid shots. I asked about tens, he laughed and said those are available commercially. Said get a cane and keep weight off. Duh like I had to be told that!! It hurts and has been since November and then I fell hard in March 14!! Been struggling with pain since. My Dr Bradley’s PA Dr Gage Henry had given me all samples he could have Journavx in February. But Medicare nor Atena would not pay any for more even with PERSCRIPTIONS. They wanted $1,400 for 30 days pills!! I could not afford them so I continued to suffer cause I can’t take opioids! I’m not normal like most people Dr Bradley has treated me for over 40 years and he can tell you u I can’t take meds like most. It took me over a year to get the right thyroid meds 20+ years ago!

I thank God for Dr. Desphande; He is awesome surgeon. my hip surgery went very well and my recovery is great. No more pain!! He has a caring and compassionate spirit. I would recommend him to anyone who needs hip surgery.

Dr. Chetan Deshpande is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in orthopaedic trauma, joint replacement, anterior hip replacement, and general orthopaedics. Double majoring in Marine Biology and Secondary Education at Boston University, he then attended New York Medical College where he received his M.D. After completing his internship and residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Dr. Deshpande completed a fellowship at the Georgia Orthopaedic Trauma Institute in Macon, Georgia. In May 2013, Dr. Deshpande was recognized for his work in the field with a nomination for physician of the year.
Dr. Deshpande has given lectures and presentations for various orthopaedic events across the U.S. since 2006. He has also been involved in orthopaedic research and has several peer reviewed publications. In addition to his orthopaedic work, Dr. Deshpande has volunteered his time as a captain, driver, lieutenant, and other positions in community fire departments.
